Performance Excellence Training

Skills for being at your best in challenging situations

Do you know that what separates Olympic champions from those who have come close to winning but didn’t? It is not their talent or physical ability. It is their mental game that makes all the difference. It is the way their minds and bodies are able to achieve optimal levels of activation and focus in on what matters most at the moment of challenge.

This is the case for many professionals – attorneys, executives, managers, scientists, finance professionals, physicians, as well as musicians and athletes. As a professional, you have a lot of knowledge and experience, and yet, you may still find yourself not being able to perform at your best in high-pressure situations. This may happen in personal situations as well. You may know exactly how you intend to act and what you intend to say, but when it comes down to carrying out your intention, automatic reactions from your mind and body get in the way. This happens not because you are missing some vital piece of knowledge, but because performance excellence in high-pressure situations requires a skill not typically taught in school or any professional training. The skill is self-regulation – the ability of your mind and body to power up to just the right level to meet the demands of the challenge in front of you and then recover fully once the challenge is over, allowing you to prepare to whatever challenges may come next.

With biofeedback and mindfulness training, we will guide you in improving your mind and body’s ability to self-regulate, increasing your resilience, ability to problem solve under pressure, focus on what’s most important in the moment, make decisions, and, ultimately, improve your professional performance.
